PASMA Tower Week
Preparations are well underway for PASMA Tower Week Yorkshire, a brand new initiative organised by the Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association in collaboration with its local members – manufacturers, hirer/dealers and training centres.
The aim of this campaign is to promote mobile access towers as a safe and adaptable method of working at height across all industry sectors. PASMA Tower Week will be launched on Monday 11 June 2012 and followed by a weeklong series of activities and events at different venues throughout the region.
PASMA Tower Week has five principal objectives:
- To promote the safe and proper use of towers in the workplace;
- To demonstrate the all-round versatility of towers;
- To provide a snapshot of tower use on a practical, day-to-day basis;
- To promote tower training and competency
- To raise awareness and understanding of the role of PASMA in developing UK and European standards and tower guidance
